Halle Berry Says She 'Manifested' Boyfriend Van Hunt After Three Divorces

Halle Berry has suggested that she was able to "manifest" her boyfriend Van Hunt after three unsuccessful marriages.

In an interview on Today with Jenna & Friends, the 58-year-old actor said that she was convinced she "spiritually called" up Van Hunt, 54, following her third divorce in 2016. "I manifested him," she said, adding that her previous relationships helped her realize pretty quickly that he was perfect for her.

"Having gone through three divorces, I finally knew what wasn't working, and I realized I was always saying to the universe what I didn't want — what I didn't want," she said. "So guess what I did? I manifested what I didn't want. So, I really had to change my thinking, and instead of thinking of what I didn't want, I had to get intentional with what I did want."

She asked herself what would make for a "perfect partner," and when she got "very granular" with her wants and needs in a relationship, Jones entered her life. "It was the perfect match for me," she continued. "After three divorces, you kind of go, 'I'm just going to be alone,' and I was ready to do that. I was done. I knew that if the right person didn't show up for me, I'd be better off going at it alone. But this is the power of manifestation. We can manifest any reality we want."

Berry and Jones started dating in 2020 after they connected during the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. As she recently shared alongside some "naughty and nice" Christmas vacation photos, she and Jones have been going strong ever since.

Berry was first married to former MLB player David Justice from 1993 to 1997, followed by R&B singer-songwriter Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005, and French actor Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016. She shares her 11-year-old son, Maceo-Robert, with Martinez, and 16-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela with former partner Gabriel Aubry.
