Jennifer Lopez And Matt Damon Spotted Holding Hands, in Deep Conversation Amid Ben Affleck Divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon were seen holding hands during a conversation following the premiere of Unstoppable at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Per Page Six, Lopez and Damon were in attendance at TIFF for the premiere of the new biographical sports drama, which she stars in and Damon produced alongside Ben Affleck as part of their company Artists Equity. An eyewitness told the publication that they sat down for a "long, deep conversation" at an afterparty following the premiere, which was held at the The Ritz-Carlton's EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace.

The source added that they were seen laughing during their roughly 20-minute conversation, and Damon's wife Luciana Damon was also seated near the pair. Affleck, who is best friends with Damon and is currently going through a divorce with Lopez, was not in attendance.

Last month, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on the second anniversary of their wedding ceremony in Georgia. In the documents, she listed the date of their separation as April 26, 2024. The couple was known as one of the hottest Hollywood "it" couples during the early '00s and rekindled their romance in 2021. It was Affleck's second marriage and Lopez's fourth.

Recently, a source told People that Affleck's "erratic mood swings" potentially played a role in their divorce. "The truth is, there was a great deal of love. But also, unfortunately, what became clear were Ben's erratic mood swings that he couldn't hide from the press, as much as he tried to,” the source told the magazine.
