Dave Franco and Alison Brie Nearly Kiss While Sharing Fries in Wendy’s

Dave Franco and Alison Brie are romantic about Wendy's french fries ... at least that's how it appears in a super awkward video captured of the husband and wife.

The video popped up on social media Thursday — and quickly went viral —showing the two cozied up at a table next to a window at the popular fast food joint. It's unclear where exactly the restaurant is located, but other restaurant patrons certainly got a show.

As the video pans, you see the two sharing a french fry "Lady and the Tramp" style while their faces get closer and closer, almost to the point of kissing. The two then grab hands ... in a very weird embrace.

Now, while the video might look strange on the surface, there's some important background to know about an upcoming project the two are working on.

Both Franco and Brie are set to star in an upcoming horror movie titled, Together, set to come out later this month. Therefore, it's more than likely they're behind the clip in a press push to get people talking about their film.

It was earlier this week when the two were spotted at a local park while Brie clipped Franco's toenails. Again, there was speculation that stunt had something to do with generating some buzz for the movie.

Together is set for release July 30 and is slated as a "supernatural body horror film." The film is both written and directed by Michael Shanks and Franco and Brie play "a couple who move to the countryside but find themselves encountering a mysterious force that horrifically causes changes in their bodies."
