Former Superman actor Dean Cain says he's joining ICE.

Cain was on Fox News August 6 when he revealed his latest undertaking—telling host Jesse Watters, saying he's already spoken with officials and will be sworn in as an official ICE Agent "ASAP."

Watters then asked Cain to detail the work he plans to do with ICE, asking if he'd actually be someone to jump out of vans and apprehend people.

Cain responded, "I will do whatever Director Lyons wants me to do, if that’s what it takes, absolutely. I somehow doubt I would be in that position, but I would be there in a heartbeat. These brave men and women need someone to stand up for them, so rarely these days are we seeing that."

Cain then went on to add, "This is the kind of thing where people have to step up. I’m stepping up, hopefully a whole bunch of other former officers, former ICE Agents will step up and meet those recruitment goals immediately and will help protect this country."

Cain's declaration on Fox News comes just 24 hours afters after he posted a video on social media urging people to join ICE. He went on to describe benefits to potential recruits—including a signing bonus, help with student loans and more.

Cain ended his video by saying, "So if you want to help save America, ICE is arresting the worst of the worst and removing them from America’s streets. I like that, I voted for that. They need your help, we need your help to protect our homeland and our families. So check into it, as I said, and join today if it’s something that tickles your fancy."

Cain played the superhero from 1993 to 1997 on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and has been a very big supporter of President Donald Trump over the years.
