Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are officially divorced.

TMZ reports that after eight years, Jolie signed the divorce papers on Christmas Day and filed them on Monday. Pitt won’t be giving her spousal or family support. The paperwork also doesn’t include an agreement for their six children, only two of whom are minors, twins Knox and Vivienne.

"More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt,” Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon told the outlet. “She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over."

Angelina and Brad were married for two years and had been domestic partners for almost 10 years before that. She filed for divorce in September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences—and they proceeded to have a bitter legal battle over their assets, children, and more. In 2019, the pair were declared legally single.

In addition to the divorce, they’ve been in a lawsuit over their French winery, with Pitt suing Jolie for selling her share without his permission.

The exes met on the set of 2004’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith when Pitt married Jennifer Aniston. He and Jolie officially started dating in 2005 and had six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.
