Aubrey O'Day Reveals How She's Feeling Amid Diddy Trial
Former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day has spoken out amid the ongoing Diddy trial.
Aubrey O'Day is hoping that justice is served when it comes to the Diddy trial.
The former member of Danity Kane — a girl group that was created Sean "Diddy" Combs in 2005 on the hit MTV show Making the Band — shared her feelings about the ongoing trial in a new interview with E! News.
"Justice for me in this setting. I would like to see all of the crimes that I know are true for him to serve time for all of those, personally," she told the outlet.
Diddy had been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Earlier this week, some of the charges against the disgraced rap mogul had been dropped, though his fate is still in limbo. Closing arguments in the case began on Thursday, June 26.
"Professionally, I would like the prosecution to have done such an incredible job that nobody had any questions right now,” O'Day, 41, continued. “I would like to see a world in which they really connected the dots. I'd like to see them really bring home the charges that they indicted him for."
O'Day, who wasn't called upon to testify in the trial, went on to say that she hopes that things were "clear" for the jury ahead of deliberation.
"There's cause for concern when you watch the trial, the very first part of it all play out, and there's still questions for people. I don't have any questions, but the prosecution needs to have done a good enough job to make sure that the jury doesn't," O'Day said.
If a jury finds Diddy guilty on any of the charges, he will undoubtedly face additional time behind bars. The length of time ranges from more than a decade to life in prison.
