Sophie Rain Hints at Possible Retirement After Garnering $80M Net Worth
Sophie Rain has hinted at a retirement from OnlyFans after leaving The Bop House.
Sophie Rain, the 20-year-old OnlyFans sensation who rose to fame from the Bop House creator mansion, is signaling she may be stepping away from the spotlight, and social media can’t stop talking about it.
In a series of recent posts labeled “Day 1 of being retired,” Rain is seen enjoying quiet moments in nature, sparking speculation among her 7 million Instagram followers that she’s walking away from the platform that earned her a reported $80 million fortune.
“The Bop House will always be a huge part of my life, but lately, I’ve felt like I was losing my own voice inside of it,” Rain told Us Weekly in a statement.
She cited creative differences and a “major falling out” with co-creator Camilla Araujo as key reasons for leaving the influencer mansion, describing the environment as increasingly “controlling.”
Rain said the decision to leave wasn’t easy, but was necessary for her mental health.
“I’m grateful for the memories, the success, and the sisterhood we once had, but it’s time for me to move forward,” she added, noting that her next chapter will be “on my own terms, no more behind-the-scenes drama, just me.”
Founded in 2024 with Aishah Sofey, the Bop House became a viral content hub and home to stars like Alina Rose, Summer Iris, Ava Reyes, and Julia Filippo.
The creators reportedly split $75,000 a month in rent, using the mansion as a base for OnlyFans content and brand collaborations.
Rain, whose rise from food stamps to multimillionaire has been widely covered, revealed she’s used her earnings to pay off her parents’ mortgage, cover $15,000 in back taxes, and gift her brother a BMW M2.
“It’s honestly very stressful,” Rain told USA Today of supporting her family. “It’s such a blessing in disguise, though, because they can come to me if they need anything.”
While Rain has been outspoken about destigmatizing online sex work, she’s also urged young fans to think carefully before joining platforms like OnlyFans, warning it’s “a big life change with a lot of stigma around it.”
