Taylor Swift Recalls the Embarrassing Gaffe She Made While on Her First Date with Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift’s limited knowledge about football led to an awkward moment while on her first date with Travis Kelce.
Whether you’re a diehard fan or not one at all, there is no denying that Taylor Swift is one of the most popular pop stars in the world. Beloved not only for her smash hit albums, Swift is also known for her creativity, poise, and sense of style. It would seem that the 35-year-old billionaire could never be someone who would find themselves embarrassed.
Nevertheless, during the recent episode of New Heights alongside her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce, Swift revealed that she made an embarrassing gaffe while on her first date with the Chiefs tight end.
It was Swift’s limited knowledge of football at the time that would lead her to ask Travis an embarrassing question that she would later come to regret.
“On our first date, I literally, I legitimately asked him, what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl and he looked across the field, across the line of scrimmage, and saw his brother standing on the other…like five feet in front of him on the field,” she began.
Travis laughed at Swift’s retelling of the funny memory.
“And he was like, he didn’t even look at me. Like, I now know what an insane question that was. He was like, actually, I’m on the offense and my brother’s on the offense and I’m only on the field at the same time as the defense. I thought everyone was on there at the same time,” she continued.
Luckily, Travis didn’t seem to mind Swift’s lack of football knowledge because the pair continued to date and have been together for nearly two years.
While on the New Heights podcast, Swift announced that she will be releasing a new album called Life of a Showgirl in October. This news sent Swifties across the globe into a frenzy.
