Kylie Jenner Just Took a Major Step With Timothée Chalamet After 2 Years of Dating

Kylie Jenner may have already made her public debut with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, but now she’s making it clear — they’re in it for the long haul.

The 27-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder officially followed her actor beau on Instagram on Tuesday, July 1, after more than two years of dating. And yes, it really has been that long.

Jenner follows only a select few accounts, just 119, and one of them is now Chalamet’s verified handle, “tchalamet.” As sweet as the gesture is, Timothée hasn’t followed her back yet, however, he doesn’t follow anyone on Instagram.

It seems the two are still going strong as the last time they were spotted together was in late May, courtside at a New York Knicks game. Decked out in Knicks gear, they were photographed sharing some PDA while the team faced off against the Indiana Pacers.

Jenner and Chalamet have been linked since April 2023, following her split from Travis Scott, with whom she shares two children — Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3.

Rumors began spreading after reports revealed they were secretly seeing each other and spending time together.

However, it wasn’t until September that they made their first public appearance as a couple at a Beyoncé concert. A video obtained by TMZ showed them kissing multiple times throughout the night, seemingly confirming the dating rumors.

While the pair keep details about their relationship mostly private, Chalamet’s mother is clearly a fan. “I have to say she’s lovely. She’s very nice to me,” Nicole Flender said in an interview with New York Magazine's Curbed in April 2025.

It seems they have a strong support system behind them, but their relationship hasn’t always been met with praise.

When Jenner first started dating Chalamet, fans noticed a shift in her style — and some speculated that he was the influence behind it.

Jenner has since denied that, once telling Dazed, “That’s so funny, I’ve seen that before too, and I’m always like, first of all, the baddie never left.”

“I wear a latex dress at least once a week. Like, where do you guys think the baddie went?” she added. “People saw me in a flowy dress once in my life, and were like, ‘She’s gone!’ I wore a sundress once in Palm Springs, you know—like, can a girl wear a sundress once?”

Despite what some may say, the couple is still going strong — and these days, an Instagram follow feels almost like a proposal.
