Michael B. Jordan hasn't given up on Jonathan Majors, who starred alongside him in Creed III.

The actor, who stars in upcoming vampire thriller Sinners, spoke to GQ about his relationship with Majors, who was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December 2023.

"[H]e’s doing great, just got engaged. I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it. I’m glad he’s good. That’s my boy..."

Jordan was previously quiet on Majors' arrest, which occurred in the same month as the release of Creed III. Last June, Majors gave an emotional speech while accepting the Perseverance Award at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards and thanked those who supported him throughout his trial, including Will Smith, Tyler Perry, David Oyelowo and Whoopi Goldberg.

During the Creed III promotional tour, Jordan and Majors frequently bigged each other up in interviews, and during a 2023 interview with Extra, Majors called Jordan a "man of his word."

"He’s not let me down, and I’ve not let him down… so that competition, that alpha nature, is being used to push each other to be better… That’s a gift," Majors said in the video below.

Majors was sentenced to 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and probation for the assault of his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Additionally, the actor was dropped from multiple film projects including the upcoming Avengers films.
