New York can't seem to beat the "too expensive" allegations.

To exhibit just how greedy some NYC landlords can be, Speedy Morman, host of Complex's 360 With Speedy, visited an apartment while on the hunt for a new spot. Thankfully, the journalist and media personality gave us a tour of a $7,000 apartment via TikTok and warned fans of the ridiculous housing situation in NYC.

Speedy said the two-bedroom and two-bathroom place was out of his "price range" but showed "what seven thousand United States George Washington dollars gets you in the great city of New York City."

He started with the apartment's lackluster kitchen which had outdated tile flooring and a white gas stove and matching refrigerator. "I mean, boy, do we have a stunner here of a kitchen," Speedy joked.

He added that the laundry setup looked like it was "back from the Revolutionary War," while the living room had basic shelf closet. "Mind you, I'm at a .5 angle," Speedy said about his camera perspective.

Speedy admitted that the bedroom was "good sized" while the bathroom was also "nice," but $7,000 wasn't cutting it. "See the snack in the building, but that's not included," Speedy joked about his mirror reflection in the bathroom. "Come on, man. Cannot justify."

Commenters were just as lost. "People need to start interviewing landlords.. I need to see the greed upfront," said one person.

Speedy's clearly on to his next apartment tour, but those looking to live in the Big Apple can expect $3,995 monthly rent.
