Walton Goggins didn’t want to talk about his White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood during a recent interview.

Fans of the hit HBO black comedy drama speculate there is alleged tension between the actors after the third White Lotus season ended after the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. The tension reportedly stems from Saturday Night Live parodying Wood, which the actress found offensive, while Goggins praised the sketch by sharing a clip on his Instagram Stories last month.

Goggins further fueled the rumors after he refused to answer questions about Wood during an interview with The Times of London. Reporter Ed Potton asked Goggins about the actress several times, even outright asking if he had a falling out with Wood, which he pushed back on.

"I’m not gonna have that conversation," Goggins said, with his American publicist adding, "We’re not going there, thank you."

The actor wanted to redirect the conversation to his 2024 film, The Uninvited, directed by his wife, Nadia Conners, but Potton would later return to the topic of Wood. Goggins called out Potton for being "least interested" in the comedy-drama, and when asked about the actress twice more, he shut down the interview entirely.

"There is no conversation to be had about that. Sharing politics on social media — it’s in a vacuum," Goggins said.

"What the f***, Ed!" Goggins continued. "Come on buddy. Wow."

Last month, Goggins has nothing but kind words for Wood, saying that he and the actress "became very close" while filming The White Lotus. "I love her, ya know? I adore her as a human being," he said in the TikTok below.

"This relationship between these two people that I will take with me," he continued, referencing their characters of Rick and Chelsea. "It's the one thing that will continue to live on in my experience of this show."
