DDG Shuts Down India Love Romance Rumors After Gifting Her a Chain: 'That's Just My Friend'

DDG would like to clear up any rumors regarding his relationship with India Love.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with the rapper and streamer outside of LAX earlier today where he was asked about gifting Love an iced-out heart necklace while on a livestream. DDG explained that she has done "nice things for me, too," adding, "It’s just me returning the favor."

When asked if he's in the dating scene, DDG explained he's "chilling" and "focused on the work."

Despite what it may seem, DDG was adamant that he and Love are simply friends.

When asked by TMZ about the two being more than friends, Love raved about the streamer and rapper as a person.

"He’s a great person, he's a great guy," she said. "I don't know what God has for my life but I know he's a great guy. You gotta pour into people who pour into you, and he's definitely someone who's right in my corner and I'm also always gonna be right in his corner. So yeah, shoutout to DDG."

DDG also addressed a viral clip showing BenDaDon befuddled upon hearing a woman on the yacht informing him that she had $130 in her bank account.

DDG did not seemed bothered by the moment, arguing that men do not have an issue with spending money on places, like a club or tables, in the hopes that women will accompany them.

Earlier this month, Drake engaged the crowd at Wireless Fest by asking if anyone had a “fucked up ex" and DDG kept a low profile in the VIP section. But his personal cameraman had other plans—zooming in on him during the moment. DDG quickly shut it down, joking, “Better not put that god damn camera on me, bitch. I ain’t going back on no blogs.”

DDG recently split from Halle Bailey, with whom he shares a son named Halo. The breakup made headlines after Bailey accused DDG of abuse. In May, she was granted temporary physical and legal custody of Halo, along with a restraining order that lasted until June 4.
