Nelly and Ashanti Release Trailer for Their New Reality Show 'We Belong Together'

A trailer for Nelly and Ashanti’s new reality show has been released.

Ahead of the show’s June 26 premiere on Peacock, the trailer for Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together is here. In it, the couple navigate their relationship after all of these years together, off, and on, and how they are as parents.

The two-minute teaser shows the two in a series of situations — dealing with needing to attend public events together, having different parenting styles, and having a dilemma about where they want to live. Ashanti wants to live in New York while Nelly has put is foot down and is against it.

It’s not quite Love and Hip Hop’s level of manufactured drama, but it does appear to showcase some of their trials and tribulations. Check out the trailer below to get a good understanding of what the show, which has eight episodes, will be about.

In May, Peacock released an official press release detailing what the show will be about. "Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together...follows the electrifying journey of this beloved couple as they reignite their love, navigate the ups and downs of newlywed life, and the challenges of parenthood while juggling their thriving careers," it reads. "Can this unstoppable duo prove that their love truly can conquer all? A fun-filled exploration of love's second chances."

Nelly and Ashanti share a son together, Kenkaide “KK” Haynes. The two married shortly after Ashanti got pregnant. In an interview on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, Nelly revealed that he married Ashanti because he didn’t want her to be a “baby mama.”

"Once we found out that she was pregnant, I was just like yeah–We hadn’t talked about any of that yet," he said. “But I was like, 'Yo, you know what. Let’s just knock this out because we’re gonna be doing so much, and everything’s moving so fast.' And I didn’t want her to be a baby mama."
