Concepts' New Balance 1000 Collab Releases This Week

After releasing a pair of wine-inspired 740s in the last two months, Concepts and New Balance have reconnected on yet another sneaker project via this series of 1000s shown here.

Newly teased images from the retailer's creative director on Instagram show an early look at several unreleased Concepts x New Balance 1000 colorways. The styles appear to once again be inspired by currency, a theme made famous on their "C-Note" 998 collab. In the teaser image, we can spot the co-branding on the tongue as well as patriotic insoles.

At the time of writing, release details for this latest Concepts x New Balance 1000 collection have yet to be announced by either of the parties involved. Check back soon for updates.

UPDATE (03/11): Concepts has officially unveiled its New Balance 1000 collab. Dubbed "Míle," this colorway references the now-discontinued $1,000 Treasury note, with the 1000 silhouette's name aligning with the numerical value of the currency. The project releases on March 14 at Cncpts.com and at Concepts' flagship stores for $150.
