Nike's Next Vomero Shoe Debuts in February
The Vomero 18 offers the most cushioning in the brand's revamped running lineup.
Nike's Vomero running line has seen a revitalization in the last few years due to the heightened popularity of the retro Vomero 5. Now, the brand has introduced a new silhouette in the lineup with the Vomero 18 shown here.
Nike confirmed today that the Vomero 18 is part of its newly revamped lineup of road running sneakers, which consists of the Pegasus, the Structure, and the aforementioned Vomero. The Vomero 18 will focus on providing maximum cushioning thanks to the combination of ZoomX and ReactX foam in the midsole. The upper uses a stretchy engineered mesh material that's both lightweight and breathable.
"We heard from runners that when they think of maximum cushioning, they envision a soft, plush experience that alleviates feeling the impact of the ground underfoot. We obsessed the details to give the running community that sensation with best-in-class design and technology," Nike Running's footwear product line manager, Ashley Campbell, said. "That ethos is apparent throughout the Vomero 18, a shoe purpose-built to give every runner, from the everyday to the elite, the ultra-comfortable ride that is both supportive and easy on the body, and equips runners to achieve their goals."
The Nike Vomero 18 releases on Feb. 27, 2025, at Nike.com and at select Nike Running stockists.
