Former Miami Heat Player Hassan Whiteside Lists Miami Beach Mansion for $15.8 Million
Hassan Whiteside is severing ties with his impressive Miami Beach mansion, listing the home for $15.8 million.
The pricey pad comes with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms with just over 5,000 square feet of interior living space. It's also located right on the water— with a 45 foot dock for any potential buyer looking to cash in on the best of what Miami has to offer.
The listing, held by The Jills Zeder Group and first reported by TMZ, describes the home's stunning features as, "Highlights include marble & rich hardwood floors, custom millwork, chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Miele appliances, built-in aquarium, & seamless indoor-outdoor flow."
Hassan's home also boasts a rooftop lounge with a firepit, a home gym, impressive theater, massive pool with a waterfall, outdoor kitchen and a custom bar.
There's also three jetski docks for those looking to take advantage of easy access to Miami Beach's Surprise Lake.
Whiteside signed with the Miami Heat in 2014, and had a breakout game in 2015 when he recorded a triple-double with 14 pts, 13 rebs, and a franchise-record 12 blocks off the bench.
Whiteside went on to sign a four-year deal with the team worth $98 million, an impressive achievement considering before the deal he was making the league minimum.
Whiteside was later traded to the Portland Trail Blazers before stints with the Sacramento Kings and the Utah Jazz. During his NBA career, he led the league in blocks twice and rebounds one season. He was also named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team.
After the 2022 season with the Jazz, Whiteside played professional basketball in Puerto Rico before announcing his retirement in 2024. He currently works as a host on Da Rebound Podcast.
Whiteside seems eager to part ways with his Miami Beach home, posting the listing himself on his Instagram page for some extra buzz.
