Ice Cube is trying to poach DeMarcus Cousins for the Big3 league.

On Wednesday, Cube responded to a Complex tweet about an article explaining that Cousins had been suspended for the rest of the season after an altercation with a fan during a game in Puerto Rico's Baloncesto Superior Nacional league.

“Come get your flowers in @thebig3,” Cube tweeted.

On June 9, Cousins was suspended after scratching his balls and appearing to make making a heckler sniff his hands at a Mets de Guaynabo game. A clip of the incident shows Cousins then arguing with a handful of fans before his teammate intervenes.

Cousins continued his tirade when walking off the court and to the locker rooms, where he provoked fans, leading one to dump a drink on his head. Cousins was held back after he tried to attack the person responsible. Other fans began to dump drinks and popcorn on him as well, which he couldn’t do anything about.

Cousins is facing a $4,250 fine for a “disqualifying foul, a technical foul, and acts that incite violence or provocation” for his role in the incident. If he can’t “show cause,” then he’ll have to pay $10,000.

Cousins was in the NBA for 11 seasons, last playing for the Denver Nuggets in 2022. In addition to Puerto Rico, he’s since played in Mongolia and Taiwan’s professional basketball leagues.
