Kylie Jenner Reposts 'Sex and the City' Meme: 'I Don’t Get Laid Unless Knicks Win'

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet sat courtside on Thursday (May 29) as the New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

The Knicks beat the Pacers 111-94, and it seems Jenner is hoping the Knicks keep that same energy going into Game 6. Her boyfriend is notoriously a huge fan.

Jenner alluded to his fandom on TikTok, reposting a clip from an episode of Sex and the City in which Samantha dates a man who lives and dies by sports.

In the clip—from 1999's Season 2, episode 13, titled "Games People Play”—Samantha and Carrie are watching a Knicks game.

“And when did we start caring about basketball?” Carrie asks. “Don is obsessed,” Samantha says, “I don’t get laid unless the Knicks win.”

Funnily enough, in the Knicks’ real-life 1999-2000 season, the team lost the conference finals to the Pacers.

It makes sense that Chalamet is a Knicks devotee since he was born and grew up in New York City. A video captured by a fan from Thursday night’s game shows him and Jenner sharing an intimate moment during the game, and the actor appears to knock on wood for good luck.

Kylie also took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to share details of her outfit, which included a Knicks hat, an orange Polo Jeans leather jacket, and matching blue and orange rings.

The Knicks and Pacers head into Game 6 on Saturday (May 31). The Indiana team is currently leading the series 3-2.
