You'd be forgiven for thinking LeBron James is trying to hustle you by telling you that he drives a Kia in commercials for—surprise, surprise—Kia. LeBron has taken part in a recent ad campaign designed to try and convince everyone that he drives a car made by the South Korean company. You can watch one of his latest Kia commercials above.

However, LeBron's Cavaliers teammate Richard Jefferson spilled the beans on Snapchat on Sunday night and revealed that LeBron really does stay true to his legally-binding contract and drive a Kia. LeBron was captured standing in front of a Kia in Jefferson's video (which Kia probably likes), while laughing about it (which Kia probably doesn't like), and expressing the same kind of Kia/LeBron trutherism the company mocks in its TV ads. Watch below:

This shouldn't come as a huge surprise. According to this 2014 ESPN.com article, LeBron reportedly has a Tiger Woods-esque contract that requires him to drive a Kia to and from games:

So it seems that's why he was taking his Kia home following the Cavaliers' return from Atlanta after punching the lights out of the Hawks' season. And while Jefferson may point out LeBron's ride rather derisively in his video, it's worth noting that LeBron appears to be cruising around in Kia's luxury sedan, the K900, which retails for about $60,000.

This obviously isn't LeBron's only car, either. If you're wondering why LeBron doesn't have a Maybach, Ferrari, or Bentley (or all three so he can pick which one he wants to drive on the spot?!) waiting for him when he touches down on the tarmac, don't worry, he has those, too. They're just sitting peacefully in his warehouse-size garage.
