Amid allegations that she's seeking half of Dwight Howard's assets in their divorce, Amy Luciani cleared the air in her Instagram Stories.

This week, the Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star confirmed that she and the former NBA player are separated after six months of marriage. One day after acknowledging that her divorce filing was reported without her consent, on Wednesday (July 9), Luciani responded to rumors that she's seeking a 50-50 split of Howard's assets and property, along with alimony.

"With such a private moment like a marriage ending. I really do want to keep a lot private but it's hard to watch this narrative spreading quickly about me," the reality television star began. "I plan on speaking on this one time only."

Luciani asserted that she's never asked Howard for a "single dollar" and that she asked him for a prenuptial agreement before they married.

"I told him I want to sign a prenupt because I believe what you worked for is yours and I'm not the type of woman to take what's not mine," she wrote. "I mentioned a prenupt first!! He declined."

Luciani went on to deny that she wants Howard's assets and that the "rumors do not align with my character." "Believe it or not, some of us women really date/marry for love," she concluded.

According to TMZ, in her July 1 divorce filing, Luciani cited her marriage with Howard as "irretrievably broken" with "no prospects for reconciliation." Although she reportedly requested alimony, Luciani asked that her and Howard's assets and property be equally divided.
