Mike Tyson has weighed in on a pressing question of the day: could 100 men beat a gorilla in a fight?

The "1 Gorilla vs. 100 Men" query had X in a frenzy last week. In an interview with Ring Magazine in advance of Friday's Fatal Fury boxing match in Times Square, Tyson answered a specially tailored version of the question: could 100 men defeat a gorilla in a fight, if all of those men were Tyson in his fighting prime?

"The gorilla's in a lot of trouble," Tyson answered. "He's in so much fucking trouble."

Tyson added that he'd put the primate in a "full nelson," giving a hilarious demonstration of how he'd attack.

Tyson has, incredibly enough, tried to enter the ring with a silverback gorilla before, one time in the late 1980s offering a zookeeper $10,000 to fight one during a private zoo tour. At the time, Tyson was married to actress Robin Givens.

"When we got to the gorilla cage there was one big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas," the fighter told The Sun in 2020. "They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant. I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let me smash that silverback's snotbox! He declined."

Other big names, like Cam'ron and Mase, have weighed in on the viral debate, steering clear of wanting to fight the gorilla. Mr. Beast wants to test out the theory with the help of fans.
