Former Penn State WR Julian Fleming’s Girlfriend Dies in ATV Accident That Leaves Him Badly Injured

Julian Fleming suffered serious injuries while his girlfriend was pronounced dead at the scene.

A former college football player was seriously injured in a ATV crash that also took the life of his girlfriend, People reports.

On Friday, Julian Fleming crashed his 2024 Yamaha ATV when a deer galloped onto a road in Columbia Township, Pennsylvania, and caused him to swerve out of the way. Fleming was driving the vehicle while his girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd, was in the passenger seat.

According to law enforcement, Fleming suffered several serious injuries and was transported to a hospital, while Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene. Police also reported finding a deceased deer at the scene with injuries consistent with damage made on the ATV.

Neither Boyd nor Fleming were wearing safety equipment while riding the ATV. Fleming has since been released from the hospital, and officials are still investigating the incident at press time.

Boyd's last Instagram post before her death was a photo of her and Fleming, with the latter dressed in Penn State Nittany Lions football gear.

"Proud of you 3🤍," she captioned the post, highlighting Fleming's jersey number.

Fleming transferred to Penn State from Ohio State and played five seasons for the Nittany Lions. He entered the 2025 NFL Draft but went unselected and was placed in the free agency pool.

The Green Bay Packers were interested in Fleming until he failed a physical exam. Despite that deal, Fleming got interest from several NFL teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and Washington Commanders.
