Angel Reese says she’s already “knocked off two big things” from her vision board for the year, and all before we’ve even hit 2025’s halfway mark. In a number of social media updates on Tuesday, the Chicago Sky star celebrated the back-to-back milestones, telling fans she felt “so blessed” at 22.

“Retired my momma, became a homeowner,” Reese said when sharing a photo to her Instagram Stories showing an oversized key and her new house. “All at 22. So blessed.”

In January, as we reported at the time, Reese surprised her mother by paying off her mortgage in full.

When elaborating on her latest personal accomplishments on X, Reese pointed to her recent Vogue cover and hinted at past detractors at large, playfully offering a “thank yaaaa” to anyone who has doubted her. She also responded to a celebratory update from her mother, who said on X that she was “so proud of this young lady.”

This week, Chicago Sky fans were given the kind of news that doesn’t come along very often, thus making the team’s upcoming season one to watch closely. Former teammates Hailey Van Lith and Reese will be reunited on the court after the former was drafted No. 11 overall. Speaking with reporters, Van Lith praised Reese for having “maintained contact” with her over the past year, describing their relationship as “very mature.” Per Van Lith, she and Reese have a lot in common when it comes to how they carry themselves.

“She turns up the intensity of everybody around her so I’m excited to be in that environment with her again where she can pull more out of me than I think I have,” the LSU and TCU alum said.

Reese was also enthusiastic following the news, saying in an X update, “We ain’t do it right the first time. Let’s run it back.”
