Footage of Drake seemingly being caught off guard by a drone is widely being speculated as, expectedly, some sort of Stake promo.

While Drizzy is currently in Australia on his Anita Max Win Tour, a short clip making the rounds on social media shows a drone getting a close-up of a laptop sitting on the table of an outdoor patio.

Suddenly, the 38-year-old steps outside and appears visibly startled before attempting to throw a sandal at the drone. The footage then backs up, revealing what is presumed to be a penthouse in the Sydney, Australia area.

It wasn't originally clear where the video was sourced from. However, the opening shot pointing to Drake’s laptop screen led some fans online to speculate that the clip is actually an ad for Stake.

Such speculation was magnified significantly when Drake himself shared a screenshot from the video to Instagram. In the caption, he nodded to Stake—“The stakes are high…but so am I”—as well as tagged the online casino's official page.

Drake's partnership with the online casino dates back to 2022, with the Financial Times reporting at the time that he was earning $100,000 annually from the deal. The partnership has its critics, Pokimane among them.

The 6 God is currently fresh off the Valentine's Day release of his and PARTYNEXTDOOR's $ome $exy $ongs 4 U project. With all eyes on his first full-length release since his feud with Kendrick Lamar dominated 2024, Drake tucked in beef talk during key $$$4U moments on “Brian Steel” and “Gimme a Hug.”

Drake has also kept various side feuds in action amid Anita Max Win Tour commitments, namely those of the LeBron James and DeMar DeRozan variety.
