GloRilla has responded to backlash after she shared a repost on her Instagram Stories that was soundtracked by a Tory Lanez song.

On Wednesday, GloRilla shared a repost that featured Lanez's song "Y.D.L.R.," but the content of the post itself was not related to the Canadian rapper, and she seemingly didn't pick the featured music. Regardless, it was enough to get fans talking, especially considering that GloRilla has previously collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion on songs like "Wanna Be."

The Instagram Stories post has since been removed. GloRilla shared a statement addressing the post on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. "Ion internet shit and I don't do mess!" she wrote. "It was an innocent repost yall bsn."

The timing of the social media blunder comes as people around Tory Lanez, and Drake himself, have been pushing unfounded claims based on new testimony, that a former bodyguard of Kelsey Harris, who was present at the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, was responsible for pulling the trigger, not Lanez.

Megan Thee Stallion and her legal team have denied that the newly unearthed testimony proves the innocence of Lanez, and have since issued an extensive presentation containing the evidence that convicted the Canadian rapper.
