ASAP Relli has commented for the first time since ASAP Rocky was found not guilty.

On Thursday, the former ASAP Mob associate took to his Instagram Stories, writing, “Gossiping is a form of entertainment for people who have no meaningful goals or purpose in life, hate me, bring shame to my name, say bad things about me, I don't care. Your existence doesn't add any value in my life.”

On Tuesday, Rocky was found not guilty on two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm following a nearly four-week trial. After the announcement, he dove into his mother and Rihanna’s arms; as he made his way out of the courtroom, he thanked the jurors for "saving my life" and "making the right decision.”

Rocky’s attorney, Joe Tacopina has been pushing the District Attorney to charge Relli with alleged perjury, telling jurors during his closing statement that Relli provided jurors with “lies.” Case in point, according to Rocky’s legal team, was the alleged weapon, which Rocky claimed was a prop and prosecutors argued was real.

Rihanna also celebrated her partner’s big win on her IG Stories, writing, “The glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by his mercy!"

Rocky was initially arrested in April 2022 for allegedly shooting at Relli in Hollywood In November 2021. Last month, when the trial began, Rocky pleaded not guilty and declined the DA’s plea deal that would have had him spending 180 days in jail. Speaking to reporters, Tacopina described that Rocky was keen to "tell his story." The Harlem rapper faced up to 24 years in prison if he was convicted of the felony charges.
