Meek Mill on the 'Craziest Thing' He Ever Saw at a Diddy Party: 'Coke Vibes'
Meek's latest remarks come amid Diddy's ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial.
Meek Mill, who last year made headlines for distancing himself from Diddy, is offering up both a question about previous allegations against the Bad Boy Records founder and memories of alleged “coke vibes” at his parties.
Over on X, the once-great social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Meek first brought up prior claims from Rodney Jones Jr., a.k.a. Lil Rod. As previously reported in February of last year, social media was quick to speculate that Meek was the rap artist listed as “redacted” in Lil Rod’s 73-page complaint. At the time, Meek was embroiled in no shortage of jokes, ultimately spurring a response from Meek himself.
“In the mist of Diddy on ‘FEDERAL’ trial I wanna bring back up ‘lil rod’ and his lawsuit that was dropped?” Meek wrote on Tuesday, as seen below. “He never said my name but these blogs amplified that whole agenda against me. My culture don't believe it but it's an attack on my brand..I wanna get to the bottom of it!”
Not long after, Meek spoke of those aforementioned “coke vibes,” though he appeared to suggest that such vibes were present at other, presumably not-related-to-Diddy parties as well.
“Just to put that on public record .... and the craziest thing I seen at a puff party is ‘coke vibes’ and that's going on at all these parties,” Meek wrote. “I’m from Norf Philly. I had millions since I was 23! I don't even wanna be addicted to weed! Not judging but I see it different!”
Later, Meek spoke more about the impact he says he saw in his community with regards to cocaine, as well as reflected on a Coachella memory in which he and Diddy ended up wearing the same Gucci attire.
“When I ran into Puff, I was salty we had on the same thing but shit wasn’t nothing to a KING,” he wrote.
Meek, to be clear, is not involved with Diddy’s ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial. The testimony phase of the trial, expected to last eight weeks, has thus far seen Cassie Ventura and her mother, among others, taking the stand. Soon, as reported by Complex’s Shawn Setaro earlier this week, Kid Cudi is set to take the stand.
