Rihanna Rebuffs Question About ASAP Relli While Supporting Rocky at Trial: 'How You Think It Feels?'
Rocky was acquitted in the assault with a semiautomatic firearm case on Tuesday.
Rihanna was quick to rebuff an unnecessarily prying, loudly shouted inquiry outside a Los Angeles courtroom following ASAP Rocky’s acquittal on Tuesday.
Footage from the scene, seen below, shows the couple swarmed by a crowd, with one particularly vocal voice heard yelling, “ASAP, How does it feel losing your childhood friend?” This, of course, is a reference to ASAP Relli, who accused Rocky of shooting at him in the 2021 incident at the center of the now-resolved trial.
Rocky is then seen turning around and holding up a hand, with Rihanna doing the same.
“How you think it feels?” the Anti singer and Savage X Fenty founder says in response.
Relli was once part of a larger group of friends and collaborators (ASAP Mob) dating back nearly two decades. During trial testimony, Relli, born Terell Ephron, discussed his and Rocky’s past friendship at length. In 2021, Relli alleged, he and Rocky were poised to discuss their differences in person when an argument broke out, eventually leading to gunfire.
ASAP Twelvyy, however, later testified that Relli was the aggressor in the incident. Ultimately, Rocky was found not guilty in the assault with a semiautomatic firearm case, just one month ahead of his headlining set at Rolling Loud California.
Also on the horizon for Rocky is the Met Gala, which he’s co-chairing this year alongside Colman Domingo and others, not to mention the release of Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest, featuring a cast led by Rocky.
Presumably, we can also expect the release of Rocky's long-teased Testing follow-up, which may or may not feature Morrissey in some capacity. In the meantime, let us all marvel at the photo below, captured outside the courtroom on Tuesday and no doubt serving as a contender for one of the greatest post-trial photographic moments in modern history.
