Jonathan Majors Says Meagan Good 'Lost Endorsements' for Associating With Him
Majors and Good began dating around the time he was facing misdemeanor assault and harassment charges.
Jonathan Majors says his legal troubles made Meagan Good’s career take a hit.
In a new interview with the Breakfast Club on Friday, the Magazine Dreams star was asked by co-host Loren LoRosa if Majors was “scared or nervous” about the aftermath of his assault trial and the publicity that came with it.
“Did you ever feel through any of that, like, you were scared or nervous that like Megan would be like, ‘Yo, this is too much for me?’” asked LoRosa.
“I told her from the jump, like, this is gonna be crazy. It's gonna be wild,” Majors said about his wife.
He continued, “I mean, we're in a relationship. Now we're in a marriage, I'll keep it straight. We have moments of, like, ‘Hey babe, it's cool,’ you know what I mean? ‘I love you more than I can imagine, but you gotta, you know— this shit's going down, you know? I'm Jack [from Titanic] … You let go of me and you go get it.’ That was a big thing, and she took so many hits … because of it.”
“They weren't announcing it, but like she lost endorsements,” Majors confessed. “We got uninvited to stuff, she got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was, and they knew if Megan's coming, J's coming, you know, I'm coming.”
On Tuesday, a source confirmed to People that Majors and Good were married in a small private ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.
They first began dating in May 2023, around the time the Ant-Man star was facing misdemeanor assault and harassment charges while the Harlem actress was seen attending his court appearances.
“She's there every day. She can reflect back to me how it's going. I was under the ground, and she just was patient with me, and she would reflect back to me,” Majors told Complex News’ Jacob Kramer in a recent interview.
“She was the first person I could do that connection with fully. I can talk to her about things you don’t talk about in groups. I just bring that to her, like ‘Hey, what do you think about this?’”
