Kanye West's Old Hidden Hills Home for Sale as a $17M Equestrian Paradise
The home is located across the street from his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West briefly owned a modest, older home in Hidden Hills in 2021, directly across from the estate he once shared with Kim Kardashian. He bought it for $4.5 million and sold it in 2023 for $4.25 million.
And now, according to The Robb Report, the original house was torn down, and in its place rose Three Planes, a ground-up modern equestrian estate by designer Jae Omar and H2 Development, which has just been listed at just under $17 million with Veronika Khomyn at The Agency.
The transformation starts at the foundation: a complete teardown and rebuild that expanded the residence to roughly 11,000 square feet on a little over an acre inside the guard-gated, equestrian-focused community. The exterior materials—Shou Sugi Ban charred wood siding, Santa Barbara stone, and hand-applied plaster—pair with a slate-and-metal roof and walls of glass to create a contemporary ranch profile that opens the home to its surroundings.
Inside, the redesign centers on scale and finish. Omar’s organic-modern palette—rich woods, textured stone, and soft earth-toned plaster—runs through soaring ceilings with exposed beams and light wood floors. The reimagined floor plan includes five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and a powder room. The primary suite functions as a private spa with a steam shower, sauna, sculptural soaking tub, terrace, and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. Each of the four additional upstairs bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom.
A dedicated wellness and entertainment wing is part of the new-build program, featuring a fully equipped gym, private spa, media room, wet bar, and a temperature-controlled wine room. The kitchen was rebuilt with premium materials and appliances, connecting to a breakfast nook and walk-in pantry. Formal living and dining rooms anchor the main level.
The lot was also reworked to support an indoor-outdoor lifestyle. New hardscape and landscape features frame a resort-style pool and spa, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, and a yoga deck. True to Hidden Hills’ roots, a detached horse stable supports equestrian use.
