Halle Bailey, Tyla, and Coi Leray Dress as Halle Berry Movie Characters for Halloween, Actress Responds
Bailey paid homage to Berry's character Jinx from 'Die Another Day' for spooky season.
This year, Halloween has been dubbed "Halleween," as some celebrities are paying homage to Academy Award-winner Halle Berry for spooky season.
One of those celebrities is actress and singer Halle Bailey, who dressed as Berry's character Jinx from the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day. Berry was clearly a fan of the look, as she gave Bailey a shoutout on X.
"My girl did that!!! Love you Angel," Berry wrote on Wednesday.
The Halles met for the first time earlier this year during a Los Angeles Galaxy and Inter Miami soccer match. "My night was made tonight i was so nervous with the icon @halleberry," Bailey wrote on X following the meet-up.
But Bailey wasn't alone in the Halleween celebration. Pop singer Tyla dressed as Berry's character Miss Sharon Stone from the 1994 movie The Flintstones and rapper Coi Leray dressed as Patience Philips, aka Catwoman, the titular character from the 2004 action flick.
Berry felt the love, calling the looks the "best compliment ever" on X.
"The girls know how to make my day," she said in another post.
Berry debuted her own sultry Halloween look over the weekend, dressing as a witch in a distressed costume, appropriately in time for International Black Cat Day.
"No need for tricks when me and my little black kitty are the treat!" she wrote as the caption.
Berry honored felines earlier this year in a topless photo shoot dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Catwoman.
"And STILL... meow!" wrote Berry on Instagram. "It’s been 20 years today since I had the honor of bringing this iconic character to life. She will always be close to my heart and I will forever be Patience Phillips aka CATWOMAN!"
