Video of Teenage Charleston White Testifying Against His Friend in Murder Trial Resurfaces
White didn’t seem to care that people called him a snitch.
Charleston White is going viral again, this time for an old news clip of him at 16 years old testifying against a friend in a murder trial.
The vintage news clip made its rounds on social media over the weekend and showed White sitting in the courtroom and recalling how his friend, Antoine Dolittle, shot and killed a man trying to prevent them from stealing coats and hats from a department store. The incident happened in 1991 when Michael Levy approached White and Dolittle in a car to retrieve what they had stolen.
White and Dolittle threw the clothes out the window, and the latter shot the man as he walked away. In the clip, White is heard explaining how Dolittle ended up shooting and killing Levy.
People reacted to the video, with some in disbelief that White told on his friends, while others said White has always warned people of his snitching ways. White has even found himself in back-and-forth with rappers such as Soulja Boy and threatening to have them arrested.
White responded to the clip and didn’t seem to care what people thought of him or the situation. According to White, people have already seen the video, and he’s still rich no matter what.
“Just cause you saw it, you still broke. That doesn’t change a thing,” said White. “Everybody seen it before you seen it. It used to be on the news. I keep telling y'all I made the news before […] So what you seen it. You think they’re going to stop booking me?”
White was in custody last month on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was also arrested last October for animal cruelty and aggravated assault charges, which he was also taken into custody back in 2023 for the same thing.
