"No, I'm not Playboi Carti," Kai told the excited passerby during his Brazil stream. "I'm Kai!"

After making a surprise appearance during Playboi Carti’s recent Rolling Loud set, Kai Cenat kept his never-ending adventure going with a Brazil stream. As seen in one of many ensuing clips that circulated over the weekend, one particularly excited passerby repeatedly yelled “I am music!” at Cenat, prompting the most powerful streamer in hip-hop to point out “I’m not Carti.”

The moment in question, seen below, began with Cenat, can of Coca-Cola in hand, walking the streets as a crowd continued to form around him. At one point, Cenat shouted out a friendly “Hola!” before a phone-wielding individual was seemingly heard yelling “Carti!” The same individual then yelled out ‘“I am music!” multiple times, marking, of course, a nod to what was once presumed to be the title to Carti’s recently released Whole Lotta Red follow-up. Upon its chart-topping launch earlier this month, however, the album carried a slightly truncated title of, simply, MUSIC.

“No, I’m Kai!” Cenat responded. “I’m not Carti. I’m Kai. I am music?”

The fan continued, this time with “I am music! Playboi Carti!” before Cenat again corrected them, like so:

“No, I’m not Playboi Carti. I’m Kai. … This n***a done called me Carti. He said, I am music!”

Cenat recently let fans know just how special his involvement in Carti’s Rolling Loud set was for him, telling chat “the songs were just hitting difference” once he was brought out in front of tens of thousands of festival attendees. As Cenat put it, “it literally doesn’t get no better than this.”

MUSIC, fittingly, is currently the No. 1 album in the country after an expectedly massive opening week. All signs point to the album, Carti’s first in nearly half a decade and his second to top the Billboard 200, being well on the way to potentially bagging another week at No. 1.
