UNC Denies Report Claiming Bill Belichick's Girlfriend Is Barred From Football Facility

Despite reports to the contrary, Bill Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson is not banned from the University of North Carolina's (UNC) football facility.

UNC issued a statement on Friday, May 9, denying Meadowlark Media's Pablo Torre reported that Hudson won't be allowed in the school's football facilities going forward. "While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities," the statement reads. "Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University."

The statement comes shortly after Toree said on his Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast that Hudson, who Belichick described as his "muse" in his memoir, isn't permitted to join her 73-year-old boyfriend as he's working. "Don't think you'll be hearing much from Jordon moving forward," a source close to the school told Torre, who said he was told there is "deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill's legacy, reputation."

After the statement, Torre stood by his reporting. "UNC can now choose to describe or change its position on Jordon Hudson's involvement however it wishes, following the publication of our episode," he wrote. "We requested comment and filed dozens of FOIA requests that were not satisfied. And we stand by the specific reporting in our episode, which came from the highest levels of the football program."

As reported by Matt Baker of The Athletic last month, Hudson does not occupy a formal role at UNC. However, she did reportedly speak with the school about how to talk about the hiring of Belichick's son. TMZ also recently reported that officials at the school have grown "concerned" about her influence on him and his position as head football coach.

The couple met in 2021 and went public with their relationship in June 2024. But there was renewed attention on their 48-year age gap when she abruptly interrupted his CBS Sunday Morning interview when Tony Dokoupil asked how they met. "We're not talking about this," she said before Belichick had a chance to respond.
