Kyrie Irving made a huge contribution to a youth center dedicated to Tamir Rice's memory.

A little over 10 years after 12-year-old Rice was killed by Cleveland police at a playground, Irving was spotted on Wednesday (June 25) as a GoFundMe donor to the planned youth center in Rice's hometown.

The NBA player's $50,000 donation brings the fundraiser closer to its $110,000 goal, as it's currently at $86,595. Irving has given the largest contribution out of 1,200 donors.

Rice's mother, Samira Rice, started the fundraiser on behalf of the Tamir Rice Foundation and plans for the youth center to be a space for the "enrichment of our children" through arts and education.

"I have already invested into this beautiful historical building with you all support," Rice wrote in the fundraiser description. "The help you all already have given Tamir's legacy we are for ever appreciative. We now have new team to help us follow this through. I'm almost finished. I will not let my community down or anyone who believe in the vision. Trust me you will see the results."

Irving's been a longtime proponent for social justice, beginning in 2014, when he wore an "I Can't Breathe" T-shirt during a pregame warmup with former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate LeBron James. The piece was in dedication to police brutality victim Eric Garner.
