Contrary to recent reports, Shedeur Sanders did not buy himself a custom Rolls-Royce worth $500,000.

Sanders was rumored to have purchased an olive green Rolls-Royce car after his half-brother, Deion Sanders Jr., posted a video to YouTube of the car getting delivered to their Texas estate. The internet was quick to believe that Sanders bought it because when he was at the University of Colorado, he’d driven around Boulder in a similar vehicle that had custom black-and-gold wrapping.

Dispelling the rumor, Sanders hopped on social media and blatantly said it wasn’t true. “Another lie,” he wrote on X. “I’m focused on my team not a car purchase!”

Last month, Sanders was drafted in the fifth round of the NFL draft to the Cleveland Browns. Tom Brady recently revealed the advice that he shared with Sanders after he slid in the draft.

"I actually texted Shedeur cause I know him very well and I said like 'Dude whatever happens, wherever you go ... That's your first day. Day two matters more than the draft,'" said Brady on an episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. "I was 199, so who could speak on it better than me, like what that really means. Use it as motivation, you're going to get your chances, go take advantage of it."

"Wherever you end up going ... it's about your performance,” Brady added. “What do you do when you get there? Because you're going to get there."

During his draft live stream, Sanders revealed that he’s giving up making rap music to focus solely on playing football. He’d previously dropped his first song “Perfect Timing” last year.
