Playboi Carti's Opium and Pelle Pelle Launch Official Collaboration

In one of the most natural partnerships in recent memory, Playboi Carti’s Opium has linked up with Pelle Pelle for a collaboration that’s sure to further extend MUSIC’s dominance.

Where can I buy pieces from the Pelle Pelle and Opium collab?

Pieces from the collaboration are available to purchase via Complex Shop, marking the fruition of an exciting pairing that was born out of a creative process that was truly organic. The collaboration has its roots in Carti’s own personal embrace of key Pelle Pelle jackets in early 2024, a year that saw his recently released MUSIC album being continuously teased, all while a number of loosies were shared to social media, only further building the hype.

After Carti was seen rocking Pelle Pelle, the Opium team was introduced to Pelle Pelle Brands’ Global License Partner, Christian Rodriguez, with talks initially centering on the development of some one-of-one pieces for Carti. Over time, this relationship evolved into a full-fledged collaboration, leading us to this fateful day.

Leading the charge here, of course, is Carti’s creative director Rose Marie Johansen, better known among Carti fans as @sexisdeath. For the new pieces, Johansen worked closely with Chris Caruana, Head of Design.
