Nicki Minaj Brings Up Drake's Balls While Telling SZA to 'Give it Up' in Wild Rant
Elsewhere in the rant, the 'Pink Friday 2' rapper also claimed she and Beyoncé were reluctant to record lyrics SZA had written for them.
Nicki Minaj has taken aim at SZA again — this time claiming she was originally asked to feature on Drake's "Rich Baby Daddy" instead of the TDE singer.
In a lengthy X post shared on Thursday (July 17), Minaj wrote: "I wonder if she know I turned down being on the 'shake dat ass for drake' song. He wanted me & sexy on it. I still have the version of just drake & sexy. I said I want to wait for [Pink Friday 2] for me & him to do a dricki song so it felt more special."
She added: "And now that silly goose still out here shaking dat ass for drake every day. After swallowing his balls. Allegedly. Oh Mza give it up."
Notably, SZA and Drake briefly dated in 2009. The Canadian rapper referenced the short-lived romance on 21 Savage's "Mr Right Now."
Minaj also alleged that both she and Beyoncé were hesitant to record the line "Cooking up the base, looking like a kilo" from their 2014 single "Feeling Myself," on which SZA is listed as a co-writer.
"Like 😩 this woman has been trying to tell the world she wrote for Beyonce every other other business day it would appear," Nicki wrote. "I remember me & Beyonce was going back & forth on the phone about that part of the song. Bey was like you sing it, I was like NOOOOO you sing it, she was like noooooo you sing it, I was like PLEASE!!!!! I can’t sing!”
She continued: "Yall why bey said (with a straight face) 'yes you can'. In that calm Texas drawl. 😃🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 none of us wanted to sing those shit lyrics. Bey voice was already on it. I re-sang it & sent it to her & she sent it back with her vocals under mine. Thank goodness 😩. She also added her vocals under my 3rd rap verse.
"Gee Roberson gave me that song with Beyonce voice on it. Then Bey convinced me to re-sing that 'cooking up that base' part. Oh ✂️ cut it out. Took the Btch 2 days to be coached on what to say & do next."
Minaj concluded: "These btchs have no identity, can’t thing off the top of their heads if you paid them to."
It’s worth noting that Minaj is currently at odds with Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, and recently claimed he owes her $200 million for her stake in Tidal.
The Pink Friday 2 rapper has been firing off countless heated tweets aimed at SZA since Tuesday (July 15) after originally coming after Top Dawg Entertainment founder Punch.
“I don't know one of your motherfucking songs. Not one, bitch,” Minaj said about SZA on Tuesday night during a Stationhead livestream.
"Nicki, you absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response," SZA wrote on Wednesday, along with a screenshot of an alleged text conversation between them. "In addition to rapping my lyrics on feeling myself 'Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo'? Lol ur having a moment ..im not sure why but be blessed."
This isn't the first time Nicki Minaj has talked about testicles on social media. Back in 2021, during the discourse on X about her hesitancy towards receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, she said a friend of her cousin in Trinidad had his fiancée call off their wedding when he allegedly became impotent after getting the shot.
"My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen," she wrote. "His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied."
She brought them up again earlier this month, addressing the people who ridiculed her over her previous comments.
"Democrats attacked me over my cousin's balls. Remember?" Minaj wrote to her X account on July 8 as part of an ongoing series of tweets that included attacks against Megan Thee Stallion, Jay-Z, and Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez.
"Let's see if they have any thoughts on that DESIRAT pardon. Let's see if they have any thoughts on brother billionaire never campaigning for Kamala even after Obama pleaded with the 'brothers,'" Minaj continued. "Isn't this THEE 'brother'?!??!! Thee one ‘brother’ who could've probably gotten the job done for yall?!?!!!! Welp. If the top brother in charge can leave yall hanging w/o repercussions then may everyone else leave you hanging as well. Hanging like my cousin's friend's balls 🏈."
