NFL star Shedeur Sanders was busted speeding in Ohio this week.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback was reportedly driving in Strongsville, Ohio, shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday (June 17) when he was pulled over in his 2025 Dodge pickup with Colorado plates. Sanders was driving at 101 mph, 41 miles higher than the zone's 60 mph limit. The football player was issued a citation for which he can pay a $250 fine or challenge in court on July 3.
Sanders, who was drafted to the Browns in April, denied rumors that he purchased a custom $500,000 Rolls-Royce last month. Despite this, the athlete owns a number of luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce Cullinan worth $350,000 and a Tesla Cybertruck.
"Another lie," Sanders wrote about the custom Rolls-Royce rumor on X, formerly Twitter. "I’m focused on my team not a car purchase!"
Last October, Sanders declared that he'll be the "first NFL player that got a Bugatti." After a series of false starts, Sanders was selected by the Browns during the fifth round of the draft.
Along with putting his luxury car purchases on hold during his debut NFL season, Sanders has also paused his rap career. His most notable single, "Perfect Timing," was released last year.
